The Persimmon Charitable Foundation was set up in 2015 to help support communities across the UK – and particularly those in areas of economic and social deprivation.
It distributes donations to charities and organisations, including those focused on:
- transforming communities through the provision of public amenities and recreational facilities
- promoting sustainable development
- social mobility and the advancement of young people and/or unemployed people through education and training
- helping people to lead more active lives through sport
- helping people to lead healthier lives, including supporting those living with health conditions and funding medical research
- helping people to overcome barriers such as poverty, disability and other disadvantages.
