From King’s Lynn you can enjoy days out at English Heritage’s Castle Rising Castle, one of the best preserved 12th century forts in the country. The king’s residence, Sandringham, is just six miles away and is open in the summer for visits to the house, church, museum and beautiful gardens. King’s Lynn is also within easy access to some of Norfolk’s most visited beaches including Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea and Cromer.

King’s Lynn has an enviable range of primary schools and a choice of four secondary schools – in all 19 local schools are rated as Good by Ofsted.
